# Cortena

> Cortena is the AI operator for accounts payable for European SMEs. It reads and categorises every incoming invoice with AI, then sends booking-ready entries straight into the accounting tool you already use: DATEV, Exact Online, or Twinfield. You set the rules. Your team approves. Nothing posts until you sign off.

Cortena removes manual data entry from accounts payable. After a short learning period, roughly 90% of payables are coded end to end, about 30 seconds per invoice for the rest, with a full audit trail. Payables is live today; receivables and controlling follow. Hosted in the EU (Hetzner, Germany), GoBD aligned, GDPR compliant, no AI training on customer data.
