E-invoicing

Peppol

Peppol is a European network and set of specifications that lets businesses exchange electronic invoices and orders across borders through certified access points.

Peppol works like a shared postal system for business documents. Each company connects once through an access point, and can then reach any other party on the network without bilateral setup.

It is the backbone of e-invoicing in the Netherlands and several other European countries. Documents on Peppol usually travel in the Peppol BIS format, which is based on UBL and EN 16931.

Cortena reads the UBL documents that Peppol carries as part of its e-invoice intake.

Stop translating invoices into ledger entries by hand

Cortena codes every line to your chart of accounts, cost centre and VAT key, then exports a booking-ready batch to DATEV. See it on your own invoices.
